Magdalene graduated from the University of South Australia with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy with Honours in 2011.

Prior to joining the private setting, Magdalene worked at Khoo Teck Puat Hospital, rehabilitating patients of various age groups, presenting with a variety of clinical conditions such as musculoskeletal/sports-related injuries and post-operative and trauma-related conditions.

This wealth of experience was put to good use as part of her role as clinical educator/ mentor to undergraduate physiotherapy students and junior physiotherapists. This also allowed her to obtain a Masters in Clinical Physiotherapy (Manipulative Therapy) at Curtin University which she completed in 2016.

As a registered physiotherapist in Singapore and Australia, her passion for the profession and her patients has spurred her to take every opportunity to upgrade her skills and knowledge to provide treatment that is backed by the latest evidence.

Juggling the demands of being a full time mom, Magdalene strives to keep herself active with HIIT and boxing fitness classes. With her fair share of shoulder injuries sustained from sporting activities, she seeks to understand where her patients come from and knows what it takes to get back to sports. Magdalene believes in empowering her clients to take charge of their situations in order to maximize their potential and independence.

Ain Hassan

Ain graduated with a Bachelors in Physiotherapy (Hons.) from Trinity College, Dublin and has been working as a Physiotherapist for over 6 years.

Upon graduation, she started out at Changi General Hospital, where she worked in orthopaedics and surgery (post-op).

Being an avid sports enthusiast passionate about the prevention and treatment of sports injuries, she pursued her passion in sports physiotherapy at the Singapore Sports Medical Centre, functioning as an important member of a multi-specialized team consisting of exercise physiologists, sports doctors, podiatrists and dieticians. During her 3-year stint in SSMC, Ain specialised in post-op knee rehab, developing an ACL and meniscus protocol that outlines the post-op recovery timeline.

Following that, Ain further honed her skills at City Osteopathy and Physiotherapy, where she spent 2 years working in a close-knit community of experienced physiotherapists and osteopaths. Here, she became familiar with manual therapy techniques such as dry needling, soft tissue massage and trigger point release, adding on to her repertoire of skills.

Outside of TPC, Ain enjoys football, jogging and trekking. She represented her schools/clubs in football, softball, netball and touch rugby and is also familiar with martial arts and yoga. She enjoys working out both at home and out in nature. Besides that, she runs her own IG page (@ainstaagraam.physio) where she frequently provides content on strengthening exercises, stretches as well as education on injury management and prevention.

Daniel Tan

Daniel graduated with a BSc Honours in Physiotherapy from Glasgow Caledonian University in 2018.

Upon graduation, he started his career as a Physiotherapist at Changi General Hospital, where he worked with patients of different age groups (teenagers to the elderly).

In this time, he gained a valuable range of experience in cardiopulmonary, orthopaedic, geriatric, neurological as well as pre-and post-operative musculoskeletal and sports rehabilitation. With a vast experience as a triathlete and a weightlifter, Daniel has had personal encounters with injury and thereafter the recovery process to return to sport. These experiences have armed him with passion and understanding to help empower people in overcoming their injuries and to maximise their potential.

Daniel believes in a holistic approach that combines first principles thinking and evidence-based treatment to not only improve quality of life but to also help his patients on their recovery journey and ultimately, achieve their goals.

Outside of TPC, Daniel enjoys a good book and a cup of coffee when not training at the gym.

Isaac Tai

Isaac graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy from Curtin University in 2020.

Even before graduation, he worked as a sports trainer with Australian football and rugby clubs. Upon graduation, he cut his teeth in musculoskeletal physiotherapy with a focus on sports and post-surgical rehabilitation in the private sector. Working alongside, and being trained by, veteran physiotherapists provided invaluable insight into innovative ways of engaging patients and helping them achieve their rehabilitation goals.

With independence and self-management in mind, Isaac works with his patients to uncover the cause of their problems and find a sustainable solution that works for them. A firm believer in education, he seeks first to understand his patient's goals, then helps them understand how they can achieve these goals by sharing knowledge and developing an individualised treatment plan with them.

Through a tailored programme of strengthening and conditioning exercises, manual therapy and trigger point dry needling, Isaac works with his patients to get them back into their regular functional activities and prevent the recurrence of their pain.

Outside of his time in the clinic, Isaac enjoys recreational boxing, HIIT, running and badminton. When he hits the gym, he prefers his workouts be set to the tune of Red Hot Chili Peppers or Arctic Monkeys. His other joy is experimental cooking and baking in the kitchen on the weekends.

Kajal Kirpalani

Kajal graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy from Curtin University in 2020.

She then started her practice in the private sector where she was predominantly seeing patients post-surgery or with musculoskeletal injuries sustained from sports or accidents.

Having worked under numerous well-experienced physiotherapists, Kajal learned and embraced their ways and methods of practice to refine her own practice and approach to her cases. She takes a holistic approach when managing her patients and believes in encouraging them to have a positive and active mindset throughout their rehabilitation journey. On top of this, she also places high importance on educating her patients to understand their bodies, the way it moves and how to manage their rehabilitation.

Having dabbled in various sports throughout her life, Kajal has a good understanding of the requirements of different sporting activities and what she needs to do with her patients to help them return back to their preferred sport.

Kajal is also a firm believer in lifelong learning and hence takes the time to attend courses to continually upgrade her knowledge and skills that further refines her clinical practice. Thus far, she has attended clinical courses on shoulder injuries and tendinopathies as well as non-clinical courses on communication to improve therapeutic alliance building between her and her patients.

She recently underwent Merrithew STOTT pilates teacher training course and is currently clocking in hours of self-practice and teaching to fulfill her course requirements, before she becomes a fully certified pilates teacher in May 2023. She enjoys incorporating principles and techniques that she has learnt during her rehabilitation sessions.

Outside of physiotherapy, Kajal is an avid bookworm, loves to cook and engages in strength training, pilates, boxing and running.

Bianca Loh

Bianca completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Queensland under the Ministry of Health Health Science and Nursing Scholarship in 2015.

Prior to joining TPC, Bianca worked at Changi General Hospital for 7 years where she was part of the musculoskeletal outpatient department for most part before becoming its team leader from 2019. Her case load consisted of a variety of post-operative, conservative limbs and spine cases.

She led the Accident and Emergency Acute Musculoskeletal Pain service and was a member of the multidisciplinary pain team working with patients with chronic pain. From 2018-2021, she led the Shoulder service in the department.

A firm believer in continual learning, Bianca obtained her Clinical Masters in Physiotherapy (Musculoskeletal) from Curtin University in 2021. She has also mentored junior physiotherapists and has been a Clinical Educator for the Singapore Institute of Technology final year undergraduates since 2018. She was also the Clinical Education and Teaching coordinator for the musculoskeletal team in CGH.

Bianca has special interest in acute, chronic, neck and back pain. She enjoys journeying with her patients to help them better understand and manage their pain. She uses a variety of approaches including education, manual therapy, therapeutic exercises and movement training tailored to each patient to help them achieve their goals and participate well in their valued activities. She believes that exercise is an integral part of balanced and wholehearted living.

Bianca has enjoyed dancing since her school days. This sparked a keen interest in improving movement and rehabilitation. In her free time, she enjoys dancing, yoga, barre and pilates. She also loves a good cuppa, a chill playlist and a good read.

Sarita Mok

Sarita graduated from Curtin University with a Bachelor's degree (Honours) in Physiotherapy in 2021.

Throughout her education, she had a keen interest in musculoskeletal physiotherapy, which prompted her to join the private sector specialising in post-op rehabilitation and musculoskeletal injuries. In her 2 years in the private setting, she has worked alongside experienced physiotherapists, allowing her to hone her skills and knowledge in the musculoskeletal arena. 

Having done her thesis on non-traumatic musculoskeletal pain presentations in emergency departments, Sarita understood the importance of using a holistic approach to care for her patients. Often times, pain and injuries make people feel helpless. Therefore, she strives to help her patients make sense of their condition and gain independence and strength during their rehab journey. Sarita’s clinical work is also largely informed by current evidence to help her patients meet their rehab goals.

Aside from manual techniques and exercises, Sarita strongly believes that patient education is essential for managing musculoskeletal conditions. She constantly advocates for self-efficacy in the management of musculoskeletal conditions. At the same time, having a collaborative partnership with her patients means a lot to her. As such, she aims to understand every individual’s story and needs which will then guide the rehab journey.

Outside of work, Sarita enjoys a good gym workout, drawing and knitting. She also loves her 80s,90s and 00s playlist.

Shoban Rahulapaskaran

Shoban moved to Singapore after graduating from King’s College London and has been working as a physiotherapist since 2012.

Prior to joining the private setting in 2015, Shoban worked at Changi General Hospital where he treated a variety of patients with musculoskeletal injuries, cardiorespiratory problems and neurological disorders.

He used to play league basketball and cricket in London and football recreationally. In Singapore, he has continued to play football recreationally and also picked up the sport of boxing and rock climbing along the way.

Due to his vast engagement in different sports, he has a large interest in treating patients with sports injuries. Over his time in the private setting, Shoban has developed a large understanding and passion for treating shoulder, knee (particularly ligamentous injuries) and ankle injuries.

Shoban uses a combination of manual therapy, active rehabilitation and education to provide individualised and evidence-based treatments to achieve the goals of the patient. Shoban is a firm believer that exercise is medicine and lives by this motto in his personal and professional life.

Outside of TPC, he’s either busy exercising, playing football, being a bun-dad to an army of rabbits or discussing who to transfer into his fantasy football team or drowning himself in Football Manager where he analyses and draws up different tactics for the team he manages.

Maheen Gul

Maheen graduated from King’s College London with a BSc Honours in physiotherapy. She moved from London to Singapore to work as a physiotherapist in 2012.

She started working in a rehabilitation hospital, providing outpatient services to patients with neurological and musculoskeletal conditions.

To pursue her passion for treating people with musculoskeletal and sports injuries, she moved to work in the private setting in 2015 where she gained further knowledge and experience in treating patients with various conditions.

Maheen believes in a holistic treatment approach. After a thorough assessment to find the root cause of the issue that one might face, she derives a patient-focused treatment plan that usually combines manual techniques with tailored therapeutic exercises to help treat the problem and prevent recurrences. Maheen promotes independence and self-management in the long run so patients can get back to doing what they love without feeling debilitated.

Maheen is also trained in reformer pilates and trigger point dry needling.

In her free time, Maheen loves a good workout and does a combination of high intensity circuit training, yoga, pilates and running. She has also participated in various runs and obstacle course races such as Spartans and Urbanathalon. She also loves travelling and exploring different cultures and connecting with people from all over the world.

Glen Lee

Glen graduated with a BSc Honours in Sports Science and Management from Nanyang Technological University in 2020.

Glen has extensive experience working with corporate and personal training clients. He has coached clients from diverse backgrounds and has a proven research-backed approach which has helped clients achieve their fitness and lifestyle goals.

Glen has developed rigorous knowledge in the field of sports science that is underpinned by his practical coaching experience. He is a strong believer in combining strength and conditioning modalities with good interpersonal skills to develop exercise programs that produce results.

Being an athlete himself, Glen understands the pain and frustrations of injuries and the challenges they bring to daily living and sport. He seeks to help clients regain their strength and fitness through a customized strength training program that will enable clients to return to their normal fitness levels.

Glen enjoys helping athletes reach their peak performance capability on the field as well as helping the general population become healthier individuals who can move and thus live better.

Outside of TPC, you can find Glen in the gym or doing Mixed Martial Arts. Other than that, he enjoys hanging out with friends or reading a good book.

Angie Yeo

Angie is a yoga teacher and a teacher trainer who has been leading multiple immersions and yoga teacher training programmes over the years. She has since empowered hundreds of students with newfound knowledge and understanding of the vinyasa practice, with a focus on anatomy and biomechanics.

Her group classes and training programmes emphasise heavily on anatomy and functional alignment. She strongly believes that advanced yoga poses can only be safely achieved through greater mastery of the simplest of poses and the smallest of details that come with them.

She believes that yoga can be an inclusive practice and a powerful tool in injury prevention and rehabilitation for anyone from all walks of life. She is currently sharing her practice at Hom Yoga Singapore, specialising in Hatha, Vinyasa, Yin Yang, Prenatal, Post-Partum and Mums and Bubs classes.
